My name is Laura Gordon. I completed my undergraduate degree in Fine Arts concentrated in Photography from Georgia Southern University in December 2008 and my Associates degree in Psychology from South Georgia College in Douglas, GA.
I was born in the rural south and my roots show themselves in my work. I am an artist, but I have to pay the bills as well! I do freelance photography for weddings, birthdays, easter, family gatherings, and other events that are special to you!

We are facing some tough economic times. We all want good quality photos to preserve our great memories, but we don't want to spend a lot of money and I understand that. I have a very reasonable price list that you can view on this site, however; I'm not a robot! Each situation is different and I am willing to talk prices with you. Some weddings will be cheaper than others. Events differ based on travel and if there are 10 million children present! I'm very personable so feel free to contact me and we'll gab about the situation and price.
Photo Shoot
Price List
(Local for me is Bulloch County, GA). Price does depend on travel. If long distance travel is required then the price will obviously go up depending on the amount of travel.
Regular packages include:
- $75 session fee (1 - 3 hour session)
- + CD(s) of digital images
(This price is for regular sessions, senior photo sessions, engagement photo sessions, couples photo sessions, birthday sessions, and pretty much every session except for weddings & events that require me to bring large backdrops.)
NOTE: Some shooting situations take longer. Pets and children usually take more time to get a great shot.
- $150 for 1 to 3 hours of shooting
- + CD(s) of digital images
Upon request you can get:

A CD or DVD of web resolution images (They load fast
and you can put them up on your website, myspace, facebook, etc... for everyone to see! Editing is required for this!) $25
What you should do.
Clothing:
- Dress in comfortable clothing and please make sure you dress your children in comfortable clothing! It's important that you and your children be relaxed.
- No distracting patters or prints. If the clothing is too "busy" it takes away from the more important subject: YOU!
- No big pictures, logos, or cartoon characters. Once again, it takes away from your beauty!
Things to consider:
- Each session is done in a carefree, relaxed, and playful manner.
- If I'm photographing your children, it's a good idea to bring a favorite toy or stuffed animal. Sometimes props like this can add to a picture and help the child relax.
- Please make sure your child has been
through the necessary processes that relax them before the session:
nap, snack, bathroom, etc. It's just a helpful hint to keep your child
patient and happy during our appointment.
- Books can make for really sweet graduation/senior photos!
- Sessions usually last 1 - 3 hours.
- Please arrive a few minutes early to your photo session, especially if you have children! This helps me to get to know you and your child better so that you and your child can be a little more relaxed and get a feel of who I am and how I work.\
- Prices are subject to change at any time, sometimes without being listed on this site. I try to keep this site updated as soon as I can.
- The price we agree upon when your appointment is made will not change.
- I don't print images, yet. I'm currently doing research on pricing for this and I will update as soon as I know anything!
- Getting ready before the wedding is a very fun time and a wonderful photo opportunity. You should consider having me there before the wedding while you and the girls are getting made up, dressed up, haired up, and goofing around.
- I will photograph your hubby getting ready as well, but I'm a bashful girl so I'd prefer not to see your man's and his men's undies!
- Show me the rings! I want to photograph them.
- Don't be shy, point out imporant family members that I don't know! You want those pictures of them at your wedding!

The contract below is the basic agreement that must be understood and signed by both the Photographer and client. A hard copy will be issued to and signed by both the Photographer and client. Once a bill is made and agreed upon the client is responsible for a deposit of 50% of the total cost.
Issue #3 can be waved for less formal events.
Wedding & Event Photography
Contract
1. This agreement constitutes an order for wedding portraiture services, including the taking of wedding pictures as agreed to by both parties: The Photographer and Contracting Party (Client). Unless otherwise specified, it is understood that any and all rights to proofs, final or sample prints, thereof shall remain the property of the Photographer and may be used for advertising, display or any other purpose thought proper by the Photographer.
2. If Photographer cannot perform this Agreement in whole or in part due to a fire or other casualty, acts of God or nature or terror, or other cause beyond the control of the parties or due to Photographer's illness or injury, then the Photographer will return all fees to the Client(s) but shall have no further liability with respect to this Agreement. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of Photographer. Client(s) agree that an entire wedding and or event cannot be replicated, reenacted or repeated for the purpose of a re shoot and limits Photographer's liability to the amount paid under this contract.
3. It is understood and agreed that no other photographer will be allowed to photograph or take pictures at the wedding while the Photographer is working.
4. On signing of this agreement by both parties hereto, the Photographer will reserve the time agreed upon and will not make another reservation for the specific time frame. For this reason, all deposits are non-refundable even if the date is changed or if the wedding becomes cancelled for any reason.
5. The service fee is ____ includes ____ hours of photography. A deposit of (50%)____ is due at the signing of this agreement, with a further payment of all necessary expenses (unless otherwise specified) such a films cost, development, batteries, parking, fuel, travel, taxi, hotel charges, etc., to be paid at the date of the event. No photography will take place and no rights are granted until timely payment is made in full. Late payment fees may apply. The fee is non refundable in case of cancellation or date change by client.
I / we, the undersigned Contracting Party, hereby warrant that I am / we are competent to contract in my / our own name(s). I / we confirm that I / we have read the herein agreement prior to its execution and I / we are fully familiar with the contents thereof. This agreement shall be binding upon us and our heirs, legal representatives and assigns. And, we certify that we have received a complete copy of this agreement with all blank lines completed.
